The Sunset Edition Hacksmith Mini-Saber Gen 2 is inspired by the bright orange and white outfits of the rebel X-wing pilots. Daring in sunset orange and white, built for rebels who never miss their shot. This new version features an optimized nozzle for greater flame stability and control.
Using advanced manufacturing techniques Hacksmith ensured the precise mounting of the specialized jet nozzle, so we could fine tune the size and length of the flame, and better position ignition wire, to ensure repeatable ignitions time and time again.
It features all metal construction using cast zinc and aircraft grade aluminum. Dur to its low viscosity when melted, cast zinc allows for more intricate shapes and details and the aluminum is lighter than steel, with a high strength-to-weight ratio.
The aluminum hilt is finished with intricate diamond knurling. Sharp enough to look bold, but soft enough to feel smooth and comfortable. The machined vertical grooves for added grip.
The ignition button is cast in the shape of the circular logo, and plated with a dark chrome finish for a bold new look.
The lever action mechanism now has some added resistance for more precise actuation, which allows for the ability to control the flame without using the adjustment wheel.
Moving to a cylindrical shape for the handle allowed to fit a fuel tank that almost occupies the entire lower half of the Mini-Saber. Compared to the previous generation, we increased the maximum continuous operation time to up to 15 minutes at full power.*
