Intended as a high-altitude, supersonic, all-weather interceptor, the Convair F-102 Delta Dagger symbolized the United States Air Force’s strategic defense force during the 1950s. The F-102 began service in 1956, America’s first line of defense against Soviet bombers. Though officially titled the “Delta Dagger,” most recognized the aircraft simply as the “Deuce”. Manufacturing ended in 1958 with 889 F-102s built. This is an authentic Meng’s replica of the F-102A Delta Dagger with Case XX Wing, with three different liveries in 1/72 scale. The fully assembled model is 28.9cm long and 16.1cm wide.
